Pass Labs unveiled two pairs of its reference class monoblock amplifiers for static display purposes only.
Kent English of Pass said there was no plan to make it available commercially. According to him, an attendee
actually took out his check book and demanded a figure, and the folks at Pass had to decline him.
Ma la realta' per la quale quei finali erano spenti e solo in dimostrazione statica e' qui sotto :
They were Nelson Pass's personal amps, they were dual chassis mon-blocks, 100 Watts per side and they each draw something obscene like 80 Amps from the wall! They had brought two of those stacks to bi-amp the new speakers but due to the limited power available in the rooms decided to singly amp them and put the other pair in the entranceway.
Word is they are not planned to ever be produced.
Air .. cosa vuoi che siano 80 amperes da ciucciare dal muro per un paio di finali da 100 watts!!
Suvvia... e' bello esagerare!
