I have finally received my LCD-2C and thank god, they don't sound dull, grainy and non-engaging like all the LDC-2 Fazor that I have heard in the last 2-3 years. The comfort is much improved because of the new headband and the sound quality is like a typical 'old school' Audeze LCD-2.

Like all the Audeze headphones, the LCD-2C recess the upper mids a little bit but it's not bothering me like it was with the horrible Fazor revision. The vocals are more lively on the Atticus and more lush on the LCD-2C. Despite being recessed, the LCD-2C can also handle female vocals very well.

The Atticus are a little bit more punchy than the LCD-2C but the difference is not night and day. Sub-bass is better with the LCD-2C.

I have never heard the LCD-4 but I have owned the LCD-3F and the LCD-X in the past, and in my opinion the timbre of the LCD-2C is better than LCD-X and the LCD-3F. I also think that the LCD-2C are more engaging versus the LCD-X/LCD-3F.

Overall the LCD-2C are a fantastic pair of headphones and they are probably on par with the ZMF Atticus even if the sound signature is slightly different.

La Zmf Atticus potrebbe essere una seria pretendente per sostituire la Denon.
Come già detto mi ispira tantissimo ma devo prima riuscire ad ascoltarla.
La Lcd-2C la ascolterò appena viene importata in Italia, ma li penso di desistere perché sono veramente soddisfatto delle Aeon Open...quelle dovresti provarle pure tu

Vorrei leggere una review professionale della 2c... Ma ancora non so trova nulla...

My pair came in this morning. I've only had about 30 min of listening in this morning, cold and straight from the box. I would be very surprised if the LCD-2C does not get stellar reviews. I have Focal Utopia, Elear, Aeon Flow, HD600, HD650 to compare to. My headphone system is Roon/Schiit Gungnir multibit DAC/Bryston BHA-1, Violectric V281. The LCD-2C sounds closer to 2 channel listening than the others, airy and spacious soundstage with well focused images, probably the most "out of headphone" listening experience out of all my headphones. Tonal balance is very pleasant. A bit warmish, not excessively so, which does not take away from enjoyment but just the opposite, makes them sound smooth and musical. They remind me of the Aeon Flow in terms of tonal balance, timbre, non fatiguing and musical sonic signature but sound more open, airy and resolving by comparison to Aeon Flow. I can see the LCD-2C appealing to many discerning ears and they definitely punch way above their introductory price. Nicely done Audeze.

tutti parlano bene di questa c però jhonny e amuro mi avete detto che non ha senso predneral se uno ha già la 2 f motivo?

perchè:

1) qui nessuno la ha mai sentita, si va solo di lettura dai forum oltre oceano
2) In italia ancora non si vende
3) Non c'è ancora neanche una review "ufficiale", neanche del panzone
4) Nei forum ho letto anche tutto ed il contrario di tutto,ho riportato gli interventi che un minimo avevano senso

al solito prima andrebbe ascoltata ... visto che il sound comunque avrà delle analogie con la 2f, comunque se riesci a cambiarla con la 2c dimmi come fai che la prendo anche io (escludendo di pagare 110usd di spedizione)

su headfi ho letto che:
Sono una hd650 migliorata
che sono diverse dalle hd650 e che sono complementari
che sono più scure della hd650
Che sono simili alla denon d7200
che sono più chiare delle hd600
che sono complementari alle EMF
che sono simili alle Aeon open
che sono diverse dalle aeon open

in pratica dicono tutto ed il contrario di tutto! Inoltre le provano in pratica solo con gli shiit ... mi sembra che in USA si vendano solo quelli a leggere quel forum.

Si ok però, devo ancora trovarlo uno che dice, riguardo qualunque cosa comprata "mi sono arrivate stamattina, caspita che schifo ho buttato via tot centinaia di euro/dollari".

Qualche parere un po' triste comunque qua e là l'ho visto su head-fi. Cose tipo "bella ma pensavo al basso migliore del mondo invece è un basso normale" o simili. E per la LCD2 il basso è sempre stato la raison d'etre.

copio semplicemente un pò di opinioni ... dove paragonano a cuffie che conosciamo ... tanto ... attualmente non sono acquistabili...

Se ricorda il basso delle 2f ... È un gran basso ... Ma non ha molto punch ... Se uno cerca il punch almeno le 2f non sono le cuffie ideali ad esempio...

Purtroppo tutto è estremamente soggettivo...

In fatti l'ammollimento del basso è sempre stato il grande rimpianto di tutti quelli che avevano amato la LCD2 non fazor in confronto alla nuova versione fazor. Ed io scioccamente credevo fosse anche il motivo per cui Audeze aveva fatto questa nuova LCD2 non fazor, per ridare quel basso che "beats hard and beats low". Ma in fine sembra non essere così, dalle opinioni questa è solo una cuffia più o meno nuova a cui hanno dato il nome LCD2 per farla vivere di fama riflessa.

La pre fazor era "punch" ? Dalle recensioni lette non mi sembrava che il punch fosse la sua caratteristica principale ..

Comunque sembra che il riscontro sia abbastanza positivo ... Senza che ancora il panzone abbia detto la sua...

Un altro utente dice che la nuova gli ricorda la d7200 li il ounch non mancherebbe ... Ma milti la paragonano alla 650 ... Purtroppo non la ho mai sentita .. La 600 beh non è la campionessa mondiale del punch....

Che poi se uno vuole il punch... C'è gia denon , fostex... Anche la nuova aeon ... Pure li qualcuno la paragona alla aeon...

Pero mah ... Sinceramente mi pare che ognuno spari la sua ... Le impressioni sul gazebo mi sembrano piu "ordinate" diciamo...

C'è da dire che con il crollo del dollaro nelle ultime 2 settimane viene piu voglia di azzardare l'acquisto estero...

Siamo a 700 euro... Tutto compreso... Purtroppo temo che i distributori italiani non faranno l'holiday price che audeze sta praticando... E spareranno 900-1000 euro...

Comunque ... Gli americani per gli ampli cuffie non ci spendono niente... La magior parte sempre con gli shiit livello base...

conosco moltissimi amerikani con ampli cuffie da nmila$$

in molti hanno il Dave, il WA234, il DNA Stellaris, il Viva o il EC Studio. a volte anche alcuni insieme. per non parlare dei vari ampli da boutique, tipo il Glenn, Wavelength, etc... in diversi hanno il MSB Select con espansione per le cuffie es. ne conosco uno personalmente, e ho ascoltato il suo setup diverse volte.

che poi i possessori di Schiit et similia facciano piu' rumore, beh magari e' pure vero.

mah.... come scritto in precedenza, a volte rimpiango i tempi dei segnali di fumo.

Parlo del thread delle lcd2c ... Si vede che chi ha la roba grossa non so caca le cuffiette sotto i 1000€

Il thread delle lcd2c leggendolo tutto in pratica ho trovato shiit e poco altro. (Letto tutto perche le seguo dall'annuncio in quanto mi interessano queste cuffie e visto che qui non arrivano... Ogni tanto riporto quello che si dice la... Spero non sia un problema)

Se mi trovo chi ha provato la lcd2c con ampli migliori ben felice di leggerlo ...

A parte quello gia citato che aveva il v281

Comunque audeze dice che dal primo febbraio il prezzo della lcd2c diventa 799usd...

Sono degli stronzi perche non hanno dunque permesso a chi non è negli usa di poter ordinare ... Se non pagando un ladrocinio di 110 usd di spedizione (hifiman vuole molto meno 30 usd)

Oltretutto poca serieta perche dicevano che si poteva prendere anche dai distributori al prezzo vacanza...

Questi comportamenti fanno passare la voglia di prendere i loro prodotti...
